If your
kids are as into Minecraft as mine, they will love this hat! And the
best news is that at the end of the week, I will be sharing another
Minecraft pattern (for the Steve character)! When I opened my
Toluver's Creations Shop, my very first order was for a minecraft
hat. The funny thing was, at the time, I didn't feel confidenet in
pattern writing so I just made up a pattern without writing anything
down. Now that I actually want the pattern, I'm looking at the
pictures I took and trying to remember what I did! I've learned my
lesson and now I ALWAYS jot down the steps as I make up something
new.
MINECRAFT
CREEPER HAT
Supplies:
- 1 skein of green yarn
- small amounts of black yarn
- Size I crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Stitches
used in this pattern:
- HDC (Half Double Crochet)
- DC (Double Crochet)
- SC (Single Crochet)
- Magic Circle
- Slip Stitch (sl st)
- Chain (ch)
Notes:
- These stitch counts are based on medium/worsted weight yarn
- ALWAYS begin in same stitch as your chain 1.
- Your
Chain 1 never counts as a half double crochet
- The number in parentheses at the end of each round is the total stitch count for that round. Example: (44 HDC)

ReplyDeleteGracias por compartir el titorial esta excelente
ReplyDeleteThank you for this pattern. My greatnephew is a Minecraft fan and I was really excited to find this pattern even though I am not a crocheter but I'm going to try it. If it doesn't work out for me then maybe I can figure it out in knitting instead.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for this pattern.
ReplyDeleteHi, I didn't notice a reference to gauge anywhere. Is there a suggestion so that I can make this in the right size without the trial and error process of making it and frogging it to make again in a different hook size? Or at least let me know if you're typically a loose xrocheter or a right crocheter. I'm making it as a quick gift, so I really don't have time to make it just to find that it won't fit. Please let me know soon! Thanks a lot for sharing your pattern!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same.
